Window Film in Marbella
We install window film across Marbella for villas, apartments, offices and restaurants: solar control to bring down heat, one-way privacy film, clear UV film to stop fading, and security film. Marbella is our largest market and most of the projects below were done there.
Marbella has more large-format glazing than anywhere else on this coast. Villas built in the last twenty years are glazed floor to ceiling on the sea side, and that is exactly the glass that makes a lounge unusable from two until seven in the afternoon.
The jobs split fairly evenly. Villa owners come to us for heat and for privacy from neighbouring plots. Apartment owners come for glass curtain terraces that have turned into greenhouses. Commercial premises: offices around the centre, restaurants and shopfronts, come for glare, for fading stock, and for privacy from the pavement.
We are based in La Cala de Mijas, about twenty minutes east, so Marbella is a routine day for us rather than a trip. Most residential jobs are surveyed and fitted without the property being disrupted for more than a day.

Solar control & heat
Solar control window film is a thin, optically clear layer applied to your existing glass that reflects and absorbs solar heat before it enters the room. Our Silver grades reject up to 80% of solar heat and 99% of UV, which lowers indoor temperature and air-conditioning load without replacing a single window.
Privacy & one-way mirror
Privacy window film turns the outside face of your glass into a mirror during daylight hours, so people outside see a reflection while you keep a clear view out and full natural light. It works by reflecting more light than passes through, which means it gives daytime privacy, not privacy after dark, when the lighting is reversed.
UV protection
UV window film blocks 99% of ultraviolet light while staying virtually invisible on the glass. Ultraviolet is the main cause of fading in furniture, timber floors, rugs, curtains and artwork, so the film protects the contents of the room without changing how the room looks or how much light it gets.
Security & safety
Security window film is a thick, tear-resistant polyester layer bonded to the inside of the glass. It does not make glass unbreakable, it holds the fragments together when the glass is struck, so the pane stays in its frame instead of collapsing, which delays forced entry and prevents injury from falling glass.
Anti-glare
Anti-glare window film cuts the intensity of direct and reflected sunlight so screens stay readable and rooms stay comfortable to sit in. It is the right product when the problem is not heat but light, a monitor you cannot see, a television washed out every afternoon, or a room that is simply too bright to use.
Glass curtains
Glass curtain systems, frameless folding glass that encloses a terrace, trap a great deal of solar heat because they are almost entirely glass with no frame, shading or thermal break. Solar control film applied to the panels rejects up to 80% of that heat while keeping the panels operating normally and the view unobstructed.
Exterior application
Exterior window film is applied to the outside face of the glass. It is used where the inside cannot be reached or worked on, fixed panes, atria, tall façades, occupied commercial premises, and on certain sealed units where an interior film would raise the risk of thermal stress in the glass.
Commercial
Commercial window film solves the same problems as residential, heat, glare, fading and privacy, but on premises that cannot close and glazing that is usually larger and higher. We work around trading hours, including early mornings and weekends, so the business keeps operating while the work is done.
