Most homes are finished in a single visit. Larger villas and commercial premises can run to two days. We tell you which when we quote, not on the day.

We work right across the Costa del Sol and Málaga province. Most of our jobs are in Marbella, Puerto Banús, Nueva Andalucía, Benahavís, Estepona, Mijas, Calahonda, Fuengirola, Benalmádena, Manilva and Málaga, but we are not limited to them and travel further for larger jobs. Ask wherever you are.

Fitted correctly to the right glass, no. On certain sealed units the combination of glass type, tint and orientation raises thermal-stress risk, and where that applies we fit exterior film instead. Checking that is part of the survey.

That is your choice. Silver 50 keeps most of the daylight and still removes 45% of the heat. Silver 20 is much darker and much cooler. We bring samples so you can hold each grade against your own glass before deciding.

Yes, and most of the newer villas on this coast have it. The grade has to be chosen with the glass unit in mind, which is part of what we check on the site visit.

Quality solar film on an interior application has a working life measured in many years, and both brands we install carry a manufacturer warranty. We back our own installation as well.

Yes. Frameless glass curtain systems are one of the most common jobs we do here, and they are one of the biggest heat gains on a Costa del Sol terrace.

Not in the same direction. The effect follows the brighter side, so once it is dark outside and your lights are on, the privacy reverses. For genuine round-the-clock privacy we recommend frosted film.

Yes. From inside the view stays clear; that is the point of it. It is noticeably tinted on the darker grades, but the view is not obscured.

During the day, yes, and that is one of the most common reasons we get called. For a pool overlooked at night, frosted film on the balustrade is the better fit.

It removes the largest cause of it. Visible light and heat also contribute, so nothing eliminates fading entirely, but blocking 99% of UV makes a very large difference, and where fading is the main concern we will usually suggest a solar grade to go further.

Barely. It is optically clear. Most clients cannot tell which panes have been done without being shown.

Only slightly. Clear UV film is about protection, not cooling. If heat is the problem, solar control film is the right product.

No, and we will not claim it does. The glass still breaks. What changes is that it holds together and stays in the frame, which is what delays entry and prevents injury.

Yes. Combined grades give shatter resistance along with heat and UV rejection, which is usually the right answer on a large sunny pane.

Less than a solar grade. The point is to take the harshness off the light rather than remove it, so we pick the lightest film that solves the problem.

Related but not identical. Solar film targets heat; anti-glare targets light. Where both are a problem we fit a grade that handles both.

No. Shapes and light pass through but there is no usable view in either direction, which is exactly what makes it right for bathrooms.

Yes, banding, borders and panel designs are all straightforward, and we cut to the glass on site.

Where the underside cannot be reached safely we fit an exterior-grade film designed for that exposure. We confirm which is appropriate on the visit.

Interior film is protected and generally lasts longer. Exterior film is built for the weather and performs well, but it is a considered choice rather than the default, we fit it where interior is not possible or not advisable.

Usually not. We schedule around your hours, and on premises that cannot close at all we can often fit exterior-grade film from outside instead.

Yes. Large façades are normally an exterior application, which also avoids working inside occupied floors.
